Netbook A Netbook is an extremely lightweight personal computer. Netbook computers typically weigh less than 6 pounds and are small enough to fit easily in a briefcase/large handbag. In terms of computing power, modern netbooks are nearly equivalent to personal computers. They have similar CPUs, RAM capacity, and Hard Drive space. Most netbooks come with Lithium-ion battery packs that enable you to run them without plugging them in, some allow full use for up to 7 hours, perfect for a school day! Laptop A laptop is more or less the same as a netbook, but has a trade off between more power and ability against battery life, laptops use Li-Ion batteries and allow use for up to 4 hours (in power saving mode). Laptops usually have larger displays (up to 17") and due to the larger size can house more RAM, better CPU's and more Hard Drive space, they also allow for wired or wireless connectivity.
