Salary: £21,000 per annum

Hours: The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The role of the Marketing and Sales Support Assistant

The role of the Marketing and Sales Support Assistant will involve working as a member of the sales team primarily taking ownership of our marketing activities, including but not limited to:

  • Managing the company’s social media platforms, publishing regular posts, and responding to comments
  • Writing, designing, and sending important news and updates to our customers via MailChimp
  • Writing, designing, and sending regular newsletters to our customers via MailChimp
  • Creating new and maintaining existing branded items, both digitally and physically (including email signatures, documents, promotional stock, and staff uniform and vehicles)
  • Writing and designing customer facing emails for Account Managers to send to their customers
  • Updating the company’s website

Additional tasks will involve assisting the sales team with maintaining B2B relationships and ensuring continued progress with new product sales.

The ideal candidate will have some, if not all, of the following attributes:

  1. Good use of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  2. Experience in managing Social Media platforms
  3. Have a creative mindset with a good eye for design and detail
  4. Have an interest in technology
  5. To work with precision with strong attention to detail
  6. Be passionate about customer service
  7. Have a mature and professional approach
  8. Thrive under pressure
  9. Ability to multi-task
  10. A confident telephone manner and cheerful demeanour
  11. Be competent with Microsoft Office
  12. Eagerness to learn and develop in the role
